Privacy policy

This is a reference site with articles in two languages. It has no accounts, no comments, no shop and no mailing list, so there is very little to say — but what there is, is said plainly.

Who we are

seytlines.com, a bilingual reference for small businesses. The about page explains what it is and, just as importantly, what it is not.

What is collected

Nothing you send. There is currently no contact form and no monitored inbox on this site, so there is no channel through which you could send us personal data in the first place.

Comments are switched off site-wide. No comment data exists.

Accounts: readers cannot register. There are no reader accounts and no profiles.

Server logs: the web server records requests as any web server does — IP address, page, time, browser user-agent. Those logs keep the site running and secure, are not used to profile you, and are rotated by the hosting provider on its own schedule.

Cookies

No cookies are set to track readers. Choosing a language may store your preference. Administrators who log in get the ordinary WordPress session cookies; those are never set for readers.

Content that is not ours

Some pages carry advertising or sponsored links supplied by an advertising partner. When that content loads, the third party sees your IP address and may set its own cookies, exactly as if you had visited their site directly. That happens under their privacy policies, which we neither control nor can inspect.

Analytics

This site runs no analytics or tracking scripts of its own.

Sharing

Nothing is shared with anybody, sold or rented.

Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion. For essentially every reader the honest answer is that nothing is held. Once a contact route exists it will be given on the contact page.

Changes

If what this site collects changes, this page changes with it.
